I’ve struggled with obesity all my life. I went on my first diet at the age of 10. I tried everything – commercial weight loss plans, therapy, fad diets, plain old sensible eating, exercise, a program for food addiction, even gastric bypass surgery. Nothing worked in the long term. Each time I lost weight, I regained it back usually with some extra as a bonus. I had finally given up hope, or so I thought. I decided to try one more time and it worked.
I lost 100 lbs over the next year. I lost more the next year. Today, I’m in my sixth year of this wonderful phase of my life. Today, I weigh 170 lbs less than my top weight ever and I feel fantastic, happy & healthy. I still struggle with food and weight issues, but I’m maintaining my weight loss and I think everyday that I do so, it gets a little easier.
And you wondered if you should? No question my friend.
